14/11/11 - New ad placement in Google Search
In the past few months we have been working on a new, improved interface search Google. Improvements were dome also for all our other products, their design has become more convenient and consistent. One result of these events were new ad placement in the Search Google.
From today, the ads that appear on lateral side of the search results can sometimes appear under them (at the bottom of the page). We are constantly improving and optimizing the search page to make Google even more convenient for users.
Here is an example of British ads.

Sometimes it's better to have ads at the end of the list of results because the user can see them by looking at page from top to bottom. Our experiments showed that the average advertising placed below, has a higher CTR, than ads that are located on the side.

If you want to compare the effectiveness of their ads at the top and in other places the page, it can be done by using the "top or right side." It allows you to carry all the shows on the side and bottom, as well as experimental demonstrations to a group of "Others". Thus you can clearly assess how ads at the top work in comparison with the other. In the coming weeks we will rename this option. It will be called "top or in other positions."
